Murals “Cumpleaños” by Mohamed L'Ghacham

The mural "Cumpleaños" by Mohamed L'Ghacham is a work created by the Moroccan-Catalan artist in Monte San Giusto. It depicts an intimate domestic scene, a family birthday captured in its everyday simplicity: a set table, people gathered around a cake, details of ordinary life that become collective memory. L'Ghacham's style blends pictorial realism and contemporary mural language, drawing inspiration from old photographs and childhood memories. In this work, the artist restores the poetry of everyday life, highlighting seemingly banal moments yet full of universal meaning: celebration, sharing, and a sense of community.
